The NSS wing aims at creating an environment of social change and awareness through various developmental campaigns. Regular camps are conducted in the academic year enabling the students to visit rural areas and render their services.

Since 1989
Vijaya College, Jayanagar, erstwhile BHS First Grade College took its genesis in July 1989 under the BHS Managing Committee's(now BHS Higher Education Society) holistic awning. What ideated in 1988 germinated and took form in 1989 as BHS First Grade College.
The college motto 'Excellence in education' shines bright with the students' achievements in academics and extracurricular activities. With a humble inception, brick by brick the institution set out to add value to education and purpose to the courses offered. The college offers about 12 courses in the three faculties- Humanities, Commerce and Management and Science.
